We want you to know exactly what you're buying into before you check out. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship, how long it takes, and how we handle the rare cases when something goes wrong.
Where we ship from
Every sailbee.shop order ships from our warehouse in China. We chose this for two reasons: it puts us close to the manufacturers who actually make our rashguards (so we control quality and respond fast when something needs to change), and it lets us keep prices reasonable instead of marking everything up to cover a Western fulfillment center.
The tradeoff is that orders to some countries take longer than they would from a local warehouse. We're upfront about this — see the ETAs below.
How long it takes
These are the estimated delivery times once your order has shipped. Order processing (the time between you placing the order and us handing it to the carrier) is typically 1–2 business days.

Standard delivery is included free on orders over the regional threshold (visible in your cart at checkout). Below the threshold, standard shipping is charged at cost. Express delivery is available at checkout for an additional fee.
Carriers
Depending on your country, we ship via one of these carriers:
- Southeast Asia: J&T Express, Ninja Van, or local-postal partners
- East Asia: S.F. Express, EMS, or local courier
- US / UK / AU / CA / EU: YunExpress, 4PX, or DHL eCommerce for standard; DHL Express, FedEx, or UPS for express
- Rest of world: China Post or EMS for standard; DHL Express for express
The specific carrier is selected per order based on destination and weight. You'll see the carrier name in your shipping confirmation email.
Tracking your order
Every order ships with a tracking number. You'll get an email with the tracking number once the carrier picks up the package — usually within 2 business days of you ordering.
You can track directly on our website using the link in your shipping email, or paste the tracking number into 17track.net for full international visibility. (We use 17track because it stitches together updates from multiple carriers as your package crosses borders.)
If you don't see tracking updates for 3+ days after the carrier picks up your package, this is usually normal — international shipments can sit "in transit" between scan points for a few days. If it's been 7+ days with no update, email us and we'll investigate with the carrier.
Customs and import duties
Different countries handle imports differently. Here's what to expect:
- Southeast Asia (SG / MY / PH / ID / TH / VN): Most orders clear customs without additional fees. Some countries apply a small VAT on orders above a certain value.
- Hong Kong, Macau: No customs duties.
- United States: Orders under USD 800 clear under the de minimis exemption — no duties. Above that threshold, duties may apply.
- Canada: GST/HST applies on the value over CAD 20; customs duty may apply on the value over CAD 150.
- United Kingdom: VAT applies at 20%. Orders under £135 we collect at checkout; over £135 you pay it on delivery.
- EU: VAT applies (we collect IOSS-eligible orders under €150 at checkout; over €150 you pay it on delivery).
- Australia: GST is included at checkout for orders under AUD 1000.
We always ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) for orders over local thresholds — meaning the carrier may collect any applicable duty on delivery. If you're unsure what to expect, contact us before ordering.
What if my order is late or doesn't arrive?
We treat lost or significantly delayed orders as our problem to solve, not yours. If your package hasn't been delivered within the maximum estimated delivery window above (e.g. 25 days for standard ROW), email us at jun@sailbee.cn with your order number. We'll either:
- Open a formal trace with the carrier and follow it through to resolution, OR
- Reship the order at our cost.
We do this because international shipping has more failure modes than domestic, and you shouldn't carry the risk for that. Our only ask is that you reach out — if a package goes missing and we don't know, we can't fix it.
Returns
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed items with original tags within 30 days of delivery.
Because returning a package from your country back to China is expensive (often more than the product is worth), our default return process works like this:
- Email us first at jun@sailbee.cn with your order number and reason for return.
- For most returns, we'll issue a store credit for the full purchase price, and you don't need to ship anything back. (Yes — keep the item, or give it to someone who'll use it.)
- If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, you'll need to ship the item back to our China warehouse at your own cost. Once we receive it, we refund the purchase price.
This isn't us being lazy. It's that for most returns, paying to ship a $40 rashguard back across an ocean costs us both more than just giving you the money back as credit. The store credit route is faster and cleaner for everyone.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
If something arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we cover it 100%. Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number, photos showing the issue, and a short description of what's wrong. We'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice. You don't need to ship anything back.
Wrong size
Rashguards are tricky to size remotely. If you bought the wrong size, follow the standard return process above (store credit is the easiest path). For your replacement order, check the size chart on the product page — we publish actual measurements, and our chart is cut for Asian frames (most Western brands run about two sizes large vs. our chart, which is why their L often fits like our XL).
Cancellations and changes
If you need to change or cancel your order, email us at jun@sailbee.cn within 12 hours of ordering. After that, we've usually handed it to the carrier and can no longer pull it back. Once shipped, the order has to be received and returned.
Pre-orders and back-orders
If a product is marked pre-order or back-ordered, the product page will state the expected ship date. Pre-order delivery times are calculated from the ship date, not the order date. You can cancel a pre-order any time before it ships for a full refund.
